About Me
Daniel Jones
My name is Daniel Jones, and I'm a recent graduate with a degree in Information Systems from LeTourneau University. I grew up homeschooled, which gave me a unique perspective on learning and problem-solving that I bring to my workplace today.
Throughout my studies, I developed a passion for technology and programming, particularly in the areas of Linux, Rust, Python, and alternative operating systems such as HaikuOS. I find these fields fascinating because they offer endless opportunities for creativity and innovation, and I love the challenge of solving complex problems through programming.
In addition to programming, I'm also interested in books and library software. I was inspired by Project Gutenberg, a book archival website, to write the Bibliofile e-reader. I am making this e-book reader because I felt that there were no command line based readers available that did what I needed. It not only opens e-pub files for reading, but it also uses SQLite to organize titles according to your needs.
